The First Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Battery Passport pilot complete

Circulor, REPT Battero and TÜV Rheinland have announced the successful completion of a pilot project for the first Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Battery Passport created based on independent third-party verified data.

The Battery Passport is created on Circulor's PROVE platform with TÜV Rheinland delivering training, data collection and compliance verification of the data, working closely with various REPT Battero departments.


Circulor PROVE platform generated the Battery Passport, in which all regulated data attributes were independently verified by TÜV Rheinland. As a trusted Testing, Inspection & Certification provider, TÜV Rheinland provides training in interpreting data requirements of the EU Battery Regulation, designing data collection schemes, and independently verifying data attributes.

As the requirement for Battery Passport under the EU Battery Regulation due to be enforced on 18 February 2027, all three parties plan to expand the collaboration to ensure REPT Battero meets the compliance .
